Sorry for the lapse in blogging lately. I have excellent excuses, but that's for another time!
But I really have something I need to get off my chest. Let's just talk about some of our pet peeves. Some people don't like the toilet seat being left in the 'up' position. Some don't like people who tailgate (that's me!) and others don't like it when people smack their gum.
Me? I hate it when people ask me questions I couldn't possibly know the answer to! And it seems like this is worse in the 'pressure cooker' situations.
For example, when I was in the Dominican Republic last year at this time, I spoke more Spanish than some people in the group. That caused lots of questions to be asked of me. Here are some examples of this:
-Why is the driver going this way?
-Where are we going?
-Why is it raining?
But it happens every day in daily life:
-When will winter end?
-Why is it snowing on April 11th?
-Why won't my DVD player work?
I don't really mind questions being asked, but the next time you see me, try to think of a real good one. If it's really good, you may see my head pop off my body as my blood pressure rises.

Why is it snowing on April 11th?
personally, I'm very fond of the rhetorical question. The only answer required is a shrug accompanied by a knowing look.
But, c'mon, Amy . . . why DID it snow on April 11th???!?!???
