We are so thankful that Spring is finally here! My awesome mother in law planted these beautiful tulips in my yard last fall. I think there is definitely something to this whole planting and then waiting a long harsh horrible winter only to be greeted by these beauties! I hope we can do this every year because it makes my heart happy every morning and every night when I walk by my 'babies'!

Almost one year later- what a wonderful 12 months this has been!
ANNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDD- this past weekend we painted the trim on the windows in the dining room. The first picture is the 'before' and the second picture is the 'after'. Trim should be white, right?!? I have an event at my house in a few weeks... so I wanted to be sure I got this little project done before hand and my wonderful husband was such a huge help with it!

Ta-Da: The after! Don't you just love it?

Well you certainly didn't have to go through all that for the shower! But I know sometimes it is just good to give yourself a deadline like that in order to get things done! Looks b-e-a-utiful!
Thanks Leah! I am glad you like it!
L-O-V-E the trim! And the tulips! Also, I've been thinking of you a lot, for example today: noticing I have 3, yes 3, soup ladles I thought, "this is not what minimalist Amy would be proud of." So I tossed the unnecessary ones in the Goodwill box. That has been happening a lot around here lately and I'm feeling good!
The trim is SO. MUCH. BETTER!!!! Love it! Such a pain, but totally worth it! Your tulips look beautiful too!
Amy,
We really enjoyed lunch with you guys in your freshly painted dining room:)
Thanks! Wish it could have been longer. Next time? Chicken anyone? Hee hee.
