Hello there! (If there are any readers left after my blog absence recently)
Wow! Life has sure been busy lately!
We are in the process of buying the house we are renting, so it has been a busy month of meetings, signing papers, and inspections!
I also recently changed positions at work from Aquatic PT to the Acute Spine side of PT. It really has been a good change for me... and less wet... and less nakedness.
Mike is doing awesome in school and I am so proud of him!
Here is just one snippet from the house buying saga:
We requested a tree be taken down in the front yard that is dead and ominously hanging over the house. No problem, right?
So, the guy comes last weekend and scales the living tree in order to repel over to the dead one and start cutting it down. After a little while, I hear a knock on the door. Apparently there are some wicked wasps in the dead tree that were stinging the poor tree taker-downer. I ran to the store quick to get a wasp killer that only made the darn things more angry.
The tree guy comes down and says we have to come up with another solution. So a bug guy comes to spray down the tree... but he can't get to them. He says we need to get the tree guy back here to put the bee suit on, climb the tree and then put the bug killer into their nest!!
Well, the bug guy was able to get to the nest from the ground eventually and we are waiting for the wasps to die and then the tree will come down.
In the meantime, if you feel a gust of wind on your face, say a little prayer for us and our tree!

Only your tree could put everyone through all of that!!! I hope the wind on Friday didn't cause any problems! Take care.
Yay for buying your house! It's so cute and you've already put so much work into it. Excited for you guys!
Only to you Amy....:)
you forgot to add that the price of your house went up with the tree removal in the contract! maybe a strong gust of wind is what you need, just don't park your car out front and you have a 50/50 chance it will not damage your property!
